Colour Workflow
(CW) by the input operator no. 1 (w* setgray) and
equal output PS operator and without or with MFL code for Output
Linearisation (OL)
Any NP file produces 1 page for a maximum luminous contrast ratio
of the (ideal) display without reflection of any room lighting.
Any FP file (of Table 1 to 3) shows 8 gray series on 2 to 8 pages
for 8 different contrast ratios which depend on the display reflection
for white and black in the office.
The 16 steps and the Landolt-rings are recognized best only for
one of the 8 gray series.
The PS file may be used for the correction of the initial display
output either by 16 measured Y luminance reflectance data (see directories
..60 to 69) or 16 L* lightness data
(see directories ..70 to ..78).
For this page without and
with MTL code for OL with CIELAB data of surface colours,
for the device L=Linear,
see CE61 in english
or CG61 in german
The output of the S...FP files is darker compared to the output of the L...FP files. For all the files S...(NP/NA/FP/FA/SP) instead of L...(NP/NA/FP/FA/SP) see CE61S in english or CG61S in german
The output of the Q...FP files is lighter compared to the output of the L...FP files. For all the files Q...(NP/NA/FP/FA/SP) instead of L...(NP/NA/FP/FA/SP) see CE61Q in english or CG61Q in german

Remark 1: The files* of Tables 1 to 3 may produce more than one page layout shown in Fig. LN1
Remark 2: The files* of Tables 1 to 3 produce the format A4 landscape.
Remark 3: The files* of Tables 1 to 3 include the linearising data for the device L = S and Q for the linearized output on this device L. The output of the FP file for the devices S and Q is darker and lighter compared to the output of the device L.

*) Please transfer e. g. the PDF file L61E00SP.PS with the file L61E00SP.DAT in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory, which uses the parameter i*ptrsc=0. Then this PDF-file produces the same output as the file L61E00FP.PDF of the Table 2. All the files L61E1xSP.PS (x=0,7) of the Table 3 are distilled with only the default file Example.ps in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory.
Remark: The files* of Table 3 serve for a PDF output with linearisation data L61E00SP.DAT in the Distiller Startup (S) directory and not for a PS output.
