Colour Reproduction and device output: Colour Workflow (CW) by the input operator setgray and
equal output PS operator and without or with MFL code for Output Linearisation (OL)

Fig. LN1: Output layout of all the L...NP files with the format A6 (here) and A4 in the following tables no. 1 to 3, see
L01E00N1.PS / TXT / JPG / PDF

Fig. LF1: Output layout of all the L...FP files with the format A6 (here) and A4 in the following tables no. 1 to 3, see
L01E00F1.PS / TXT / JPG / PDF

Remark 1: The files* of Tables 1 to 3 may produce more than one page layout shown in Fig. LN1

Remark 2: The files* of Tables 1 to 3 produce the format A4 landscape.

Input PS operator setgray
and start files

*NP.PS / .TXT /.PDF
140 / 140 / 40 kByte

Output
PS operator
parameter
i*ptrsc

No colorimetric transfer from the
input PS operator setgray
to the output PS operator setgray
defined by i*ptrsc

Output Linearisation by File (F)
with device CIELAB data
of device L
in files *FP.PS / TXT / PDF
240 / 240 / 140 kByte

PostScript MTL code in File (F)
with device CIELAB data
of device L
100 kByte
L01E00NP.PS / TXT / PDF =0,1,2, or 3   L01E00FP.PS / TXT / PDF L01E00FP.DAT
Table 1: Files for the PDF start and linearised output with linearising data of the device L in the File (F); Input PS operator setgray in the NP file and equal output PS operator in the FP file.

Remark: The files* of Table 1 serve for a PDF output with linearisation data in the File (F) and not for a PS output.
* All the files are on www.ps.bam.de.

Input PS operator setgray
and start files

*NA.PS / .TXT
140 / 140 kByte

Output
PS operator
parameter
i*ptrsc

No colorimetric transfer from the
input PS operator setgray
to the output PS operator setgray
defined by i*ptrsc

Output Linearisation by File (F)
with device CIELAB data
of device L
in files *FA.PS / TXT
240 / 240 kByte

PostScript MTL code in File (F)
with device CIELAB data
of device L
100 kByte
L01E00NA.PS / TXT =0,1,2, or 3   L01E00FA.PS / TXT L01E00FA.DAT
Table 2: Files for the PS start and linearised output with linearising data of the device L in the File (F); Input PS operator setgray in the NA file and equal output PS operator in the FP file.

Remark: The files* of Table 2 serve for a PS output and not for a PDF output.

Input PS operator setgray
and start files

*NP.PS / .TXT /.PDF
140 / 140 / 40 kByte

Output
PS operator
parameter
i*ptrsc

No colorimetric transfer from the
input PS operator setgray
to the output PS operator setgray
defined by i*ptrsc

Output Linearisation with Startup (S)
without device CIELAB data
of device L
in files *SP.PS / TXT / PDF
240 / 240 / 140 kByte

PostScript MTL code for Startup (S)
with device CIELAB data
of device L
100 kByte
L01E00NP.PS / TXT / PDF =0,1,2, or 3   L01E00SP.PS / TXT / PDF *) L01E00SP.DAT
Table 3: Files for the PDF start and linearised output with linearising data of the device L in the Startup (S); Input PS operator setgray in the NP file and equal output PS operator in the FP file.

*) Please transfer e. g. the PDF file L01E00SP.PS with the file L01E00SP.DAT in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory, which uses the parameter i*ptrsc=0. Then this PDF-file produces the same output as the file L01E00FP.PDF of the Table 2. All the files L01E1xSP.PS (x=0,7) of the Table 3 are distilled with only the default file Example.ps in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory.

Remark: The files* of Table 3 serve for a PDF output with linearisation data L01E00SP.DAT in the Distiller Startup (S) directory and not for a PS output.
